Panchkula horror: Retired Army Captains wife found dead on neighbours rooftop; domestic help held for murder
The victim had gone to the domestic worker's house to question her about jewellery that had gone missing from her home.
PTC News Desk: A domestic worker in Haryana's Panchkula allegedly murdered her elderly employer with the help of her husband and son. According to police, the three accused hid the woman's body under tiles on the roof of a neighbour's house after the crime and then hid themselves on the roof of another nearby house.
The victim had gone to the domestic worker's house to question her about jewellery that had gone missing from her home. Police have taken the domestic worker, her husband and their son into custody and registered a murder case. Investigators are questioning them to determine how the murder was carried out.
According to police, the victim, 70-year-old Neera, lived with her husband Chandramohan in Sector 21, Panchkula. Chandramohan is a retired Army captain, and their two sons live in the United States. Sunita had been working as a domestic helper at their home for nearly 10 years.
