PTC News Desk: A 29-year-old school teacher was stabbed to death in broad daylight inside a private school in Haryana's Faridabad. The chilling attack was captured on CCTV cameras.

The accused identified as Amit,21, was arrested within two hours of the crime and confessed to the crime during interrogation.

The victim, Sandhya, worked at Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Sikrona village. According to police, she reached the school at around 9.30 am on Tuesday when the accused, Amit, allegedly arrived with his face covered by a white cloth and asked to meet her.

School staff informed Sandhya that someone wanted to see her. As she came to the main gate, Amit allegedly attacked her, dragged her and stabbed her repeatedly with a knife. Police said she suffered more than 20 stab wounds. Initial reports suggest she was stabbed 27 times, with most injuries on her face, neck, chest and stomach.

CCTV footage of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows the masked man waiting inside the school campus for several minutes before attacking Sandhya. The video has also raised concerns about school security, as no security guard is seen and no one questioned the man's presence on the campus.

The footage shows Sandhya trying to run away, but the attacker chased and stabbed her several times. Even after she fell to the ground, he continued the attack.

Police said Amit had known Sandhya for about two years after studying at a private school in her village. Despite her rejecting his advances, he allegedly continued to stalk and harass her.

Investigators said Sandhya had recently warned Amit that she would file a police complaint against him. She had also lodged a molestation case against him a few days earlier, after which he publicly apologised. Police believe the murder was an act of revenge for that complaint.
