PTC News Desk: A trainee aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed into a pond in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Wednesday, triggering panic in the area.
Meanwhile, locals swiftly swing into action and informed the police following which fire brigade vehicles and several rescue teams rushed to the spot. The administration cordoned off the area.
The exact cause behind the crash, number of passengers onboard the aircraft however has not been ascertained yet.
The rescue operation is underway.
It is learnt that both pilots are safe.
