What is PM Modi's Viksit Bharat 2047 vision?

PM Narendra Modi's visionary agenda, dubbed "Viksit Bharat 2047," has emerged as a central theme in his discourse in recent years. With a keen eye on the future, the Prime Minister has articulated a comprehensive action plan aimed at propelling India into the league of developed nations by the year 2047 – marking a century since the country gained independence from British colonial rule.

During a meeting held on Sunday, Modi delved into the intricacies of the Viksit Bharat 2047 roadmap for the forthcoming five years. This blueprint entails a meticulously curated set of national objectives, aspirations, and strategic initiatives. At its core, the Viksit Bharat vision prioritizes key pillars such as economic growth, sustainable development goals, enhancement of living standards, fostering a conducive business environment, bolstering infrastructure, and ensuring comprehensive social welfare measures.

Central to Modi's vision is the aspiration to foster inclusive economic participation, aiming to empower every citizen to contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. Notably, a pivotal aspect of this agenda is the ambitious goal of catapulting India into the ranks of the world's top three economies within the next five years, contingent upon the NDA securing power once again.

In a strategic move gearing up for the upcoming general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its inaugural list of 195 candidates. The roster features prominent figures including PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Noteworthy is the diverse composition of the list, showcasing representation from various segments of society, with a significant presence of women, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward class candidates, underscoring the party's commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
