Neeraj Kundan appointed NSUI President

Congress President Rahul Gandhi appointed Neeraj Kundan as the new President of National Student Union of India (NSUI) on Wednesday.

According to media reports, Neeraj Kundan will be replacing Fairoz Khan. He quit from his position after sexual harassment allegations levied on him last year.

Neeraj Kundan belongs to a non-political background. He started his political career as a student activist. He was first appointed as the President of the Jammu University (Law School). In 2013, he contested for NSUI Internal organizational elections. He was appointed President of the NSUI, Jammu and Kashmir unit.
