Panjab University issues exam guidelines; starting from Feb 15

Panjab University has issued guidelines for the upcoming examinations, scheduled to be held from February 15. Also Read | Punjab CM calls all-party meet to evolve consensus on farmers' stir According to the guidelines, students appearing for both morning and evening slots will have to email/upload answer sheet to the ID/portal provided or submit hard copy of the answer sheet in person at the college/department/regional centres. The submission of answer sheet through both ways will be not permitted. Answer sheet for the examination held in the morning slot should be submitted physically by 3 pm and for the evening slot by 7 pm on the same day of examination. An official said, “If student opted for online mode for the submission of the answer sheet, it should be done within 90 minutes of the completion of the examination in both the morning and evening slots. Submitting answer sheet through email is not permitted for the USOL/private students of both the morning and evening slots. They should submit their answer sheet through speed/registered post by 3 pm on the same day of the examination,”

Adding, “Uploading answer sheet is not allowed for the morning slot. For evening slot, students are mandatorily required to upload answer sheet at the link provided on the portal ugexam.puchd.ac.in and pgexam.puchd.ac.in within next 90 minutes of the completion of the examination,”

The page number should be written on each page. Pages must be scanned in a serial order. Uploading answer sheet in a JPEG format is not permissible,” Panjab University official mentioned. The online practical exams will commence from February 2. For undergraduate (third and fifth semesters) and postgraduate (third semester) exams will start from February 2 to 6 and for undergraduate and postgraduate (first semester) from February 22 to 26. For BA/BSc (odd semesters) practical exams will be held only for performing arts subjects, including music, instrumental, music vocal, tabla, Indian classic, computer science, information technology, office management and others. According to Panjab University, Regular college/department/regional centre/private/USOL eligible candidates will get their admit card from February 8 onwards. The question papers will be available on ugexam.puchd.ac.in and pgexam.puchd.ac.in.
