PGIMER Horticulture wing wins Champion's Trophy for 3rd straight year at Panchkula Spring Fest-2024

PTC News Desk: The Horticulture Wing of the Engineering Department at PGIMER, Chandigarh, won the Champions Trophy at the 36th Spring Fest- Flower Festival, 2024. The event was organised by Haryana Shehari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) at Town Park, Sector 5, Panchkula.

Under the banner of Director PGI, the horticulture wing participated in the flower competition and brought accolades to the institute by winning the Champion's Trophy/Top Position for the third consecutive year in the flower competition.


The Engineering Department's horticulture wing demonstrated exceptional talent and expertise in the competition, winning a total of 34 awards across various categories, including 20 first prizes and 14 second prizes in the Pot and Cut Flower sections. This remarkable achievement is a result of the horticulture team's hard work and dedication at PGIMER. 

The PGI horticulture wing's consistent success demonstrates its dedication to excellence and ability to create breathtaking floral displays that captivate both visitors and judges alike. Previously, the horticulture wing won the top position in the recently concluded Rose Festival, Sector-16, Chandigarh, for the third consecutive year.
