AAP MLA Pathanmajra on the run, claims Punjab govt trying to frame him gangster, staged fake encounter
In a video released on Wednesday, Pathanmajra said that he escaped the police custody after he was informed that authorities planned to kill him in a staged encounter.
PTC News Desk: Sanaur MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, who escaped police custody on Tuesday fearing encounter has dropped a video from an undisclosed location denying any involvement in attacking or firing at officers.
In a video released on Wednesday, Pathanmajra said that he escaped the police custody after he was informed that authorities planned to kill him in a staged encounter.
“I never got into any confrontation with the police. I escaped through another exit when they tried to fire at my vehicle. It was only by the grace of the Almighty that I managed to survive,” he said.
“I never confronted the police. When they tried to fire at my vehicle, I escaped through another exit by the grace of the Almighty,” he added.
He further said that though he respects the police but they were acting on the directions from Delhi.
In his videos, the AAP leader urged all the Punjab leaders stand firm against the government and continue raising their voices. Reportedly, the MLA is being chased by 500 cops of Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF).
