Sniffer dogs help police reach the accused house; girl's body was found in Amritsar village on July 13
Report by Maninder Singh Monga from Amritsar: In a startling revelation in the murder of 10-year-old Sukhmanpreet Kaur, whose body was found in an abandoned building at Mudhal village falling under the Verka police station of Amritsar commissionerate on July 13, the police on Monday said she was allegedly "sacrificed" by her neighbours after a tantrik asked them for the same.
The police said the girl was allegedly "sacrificed" by her neighbours as their marriage palace was not giving business as per expectations. The girl went missing on July 12 and her body was found two days later from an abandoned building at Mudhal village falling under the Verka police station of Amritsar commissionerate. The police reached the house of the accused with the help of sniffer dogs.
