Amritsar: Unidentified youths open fire at Amritsar’s counter intelligence inspector during morning walk

Amritsar: The crime rate in Punjab is increasing with the each passing day and is also raising questions on the law-and-order situation in the state.

An uptick in criminal cases is a serious issue for society and as well as the people of Punjab.

Every day such incidents are coming to the fore where unscrupulous miscreants are committing crimes openly.

Tensions, chaos and scare gripped Punjab’s Amritsar as yet in another shocking, dreadful and unsettling incident, unidentified youths opened fire at Amritsar’s counter intelligence inspector Prabhjeet Singh while he was on the morning walk. 

The dreadful incident unfolded when inspector was on the morning walk in Bhullar Avenue located on Fatehgarh Churi Road in Amritsar and two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at the inspector. 

Inspector Prabhjeet Singh was rescued as he was wearing a bullet proof jacket. 

Notably, inspector Prabhjit Singh was head of the team investigating in illegal mining cases against brother-in-law of the AAP MLA from Khadur Sahib.
