Punjab government suspends 14 tehsildars after ultimatum over strike
The Department of Revenue and Rehabilitation issued a notification stating that 14 tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars are placed under suspension with immediate effect.

PTC News Desk: In a significant action, Punjab government has suspended 14 tehsildars over their refusal to register sales deed. The Department of Revenue and Rehabilitation issued a notification stating that 14 tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars are placed under suspension with immediate effect.
"Proceedings for major punishment under rule 8 of the Punjab Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970 are contemplated against the following Tehsildars/Naib-Tehsildars. They are placed under suspension with immediate effect," the notification read.
