Earlier, the leaders of the morcha were scheduled to go to Delhi to submit the memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister, but were stopped by the Haryana Police.

Over 200 protesters gather at Shambhu Border
Between 200 and 250 protesters have assembled at the Shambhu Border, with more arriving continuously. The Haryana Police have placed cement barricades a short distance ahead of the border and deployed security personnel in large numbers to maintain control in the area.

PTC Web Desk: Qaumi Insaaf Morcha and various farmers’ unions began gathering at Shambhu border on Friday morning ahead of their march to Delhi. According to officials, the march will start at 10 am, with participants moving toward the national capital to demand the release of Sikh prisoners (Bandi Singhs). Farmers’ leaders, including Sarwan Singh Pandher, confirmed that several farmer organisations are supporting this march.
To minimise inconvenience to the public, Punjab and Haryana police have implemented a traffic diversion plan. As part of these measures, the Rajpura-Ambala highway has been closed for traffic from 7 am to 6 pm on November 14. Authorities have urged commuters to plan their travel accordingly.
Traffic diversion details:
Vehicles from Ludhiana to Ambala will be diverted via Banur, Zirakpur, Derabassi.
Vehicles from Ambala to Ludhiana must follow the same route.
Traffic from Fatehgarh Sahib to Ambala will be diverted via Landra, Airport Chowk Mohali, and Derabassi.
An alternative route from Rajpura to Ambala via Ghanour is also available.
Vehicles from Patiala to Ambala will travel via Ghanour, while smaller vehicles can go through Banur, Manoli Suraj, and Lehli Laldu.
Heavy police deployment has been arranged near the Shambhu Border to ensure safety. Officers will oversee the march to prevent any disruption on the highways, with strict route diversions in place to maintain order.
