Sudhir Suri murder case: Amritsar court sends accused Sandeep Singh to 7-day police remand
Amritsar court on Saturday sent the key accused in the murder case of Shiv Sena (Taksali) leader Sudhir Suri to 7-day police remand.

The accused, Sandeep Singh, 31, was presented before the court amid tight security.
Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri was shot dead in Amritsar.
Suri, a Hindutva right-wing leader, was protesting outside a temple over a management dispute when at least five shots were fired from a pistol.
Despite police protection, the attacker was able to fire at least two shots that killed him before he could be taken to a hospital. According to the local police commissioner, the lone attacker, Sandeep Singh, was arrested immediately and the pistol was seized.
