SAD to hold protest against laxity in recovery of ‘Swarup’ stolen from Gurdwara Ardaspur Sahib

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) core committee has decided to hold a dharna in front of the office of the Patiala district police chief from August 7 onwards to protest against the laxity in the recovery of the ‘Swarup’ of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji which was stolen from Ardaspur Sahib gurdwara in Kalyan village two weeks back. The core committee decided that SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal would lead the dharna on August 7 after offering prayers at Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib in Patiala between 11 to 1 pm. Subsequently, the dharna will be held on a daily basis with party workers from each constituency in the State participating in it.
