PTC News Desk: Senior BJP leader Vijay Sampla on Tuesday removed "Modi ka Parivaar" from his social media handle on X (formerly Twitter). The development comes hours after the BJP announced three more candidates for Lok Sabha elections in Punjab.

However, Sampla was not named among the candidates, prompting the BJP leader to post a cryptic message on social media.

In response to not receiving a ticket from Hoshiarpur, Sampla wrote, "God closes one path and opens many others. God must have also decided a path for me. Many thanks to all of my friends who supported me."

The development hints at a significant shift in Punjab politics.

Meanwhile, the BJP announced three more candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. The saffron party has fielded Parampal Kaur Maluka from Bathinda, Manjit Manna from Khadoor Sahib, and Anita Som Parkash from Hoshiarpur. The ticket of the current MP from Hoshiarpur Som Prakash has been cancelled.
