The wedding celebrations for Anand Ahuja and Sonam Kapoor were outrageous in every sense! But something about the wedding didn't fit in the rituals.

According to reports, Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh “Anand Karaj” ceremony held recently have courted a controversy over violation of the Sikh “rehat maryada” (tenets).

Former head priest of the Golden Temple Jaswinder Singh was seen sitting behind the holy scripture to bless Anand and Sonam. Also, present there were hazoori ragi and ardasia (the person who performs ardas).

BUT! Anand's “kalgi” from turban was not removed in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib, which is a violation.
