Manika Batra achieves career best ranking in women’s singles category

New Delhi, January 4: Indian paddler Manika Batra achieved a career-best ranking in women’s singles category after she climbed three places in the latest International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) 

Notably, Manika Batra also won an important medal for India after a stellar performance in Asia Cup.

She prevailed against World No. 6 Hina Hayata of Japan and World No. 7 Chen Xingtong of China to take home the bronze.

Meanwhile, Manika also become the second Indian and the first female player in table tennis to win a medal at a continental competition.
