Main opposition of Haryana, INLD began its protest over the SYL issue. They have blocked the main highways that link Punjab to Haryana.

As per the reports, INLD activists have blocked the Ambala-Delhi National Highway.

To block the roads, they parked the vehicles such as tractors and trolleys to stop the vehicular movement. This has caused huge inconvenience to the commuters.

Rapid Action Force personnel have been deployed to avoid any trouble at the site.

No Haryana and Delhi-bound buses have been plied by PRTC due to the protest.

Additionally, INLD workers have warned that apart from the emergency vehicles, no other vehicle would be allowed to enter the Haryana state.

Looking into the current situation, various traffic diversion routes have been suggested by the traffic police.

Furthermore, this protest by INLD will be held from 9 am to 3 pm, including in Lalru-Chandigarh road, Narwana-Dhanauri, Ratia-Budlahada road (Jakhal point), Ambala-Shambhu border,and Dabwali on Haryana-Punjab border.

In addition to this, both Punjab police and Haryana police has made security arrangements to deal with the protest and situation.
