Thane: Building catches fire, no casualties reported

A major fire broke out in a building in Thane in Maharastra on Saturday morning. The fire broke out on the third floor of a building at Rutu State in Patlipada area at around 5:45 am.

According to the Municipal Corporation, Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) and fire brigade rushed to the spot with two rescue vehicle and one water tanker. There has been no injury or casualty and the situation is under control.

A total of 22 residences were evacuated safely by RDMC and fire brigade official. The fire fighting operations were still underway.
