Time for British to apologise for Jallianwala, says London Mayor

Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Wednesday. During his visit, he paid tributes to the martyrs of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre before crossing over to Lahore. He said that it was time for the British to apologise for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. His visit is part of his first official tour to three Indian cities and three Pakistan cities, which include Lahore, Karach and Islamabad, to promote the British capital's resilience and strengths post-Brexit.
