Mumbai, May 09: The Mumbai police have issued a lookout notice against a man accused of sending a threatening email to Bollywood actor Salman Khan in the name of Goldie Brar.

The death threat was issued in March and the police have taken the matter seriously, beefing up security outside the actor's residence in Bandra. The accused has not been identified yet, but the police are actively investigating the case. This is not the first time Salman Khan has received death threats, as in the past he has been threatened by various individuals including Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Garg.

Meanwhile, Gangster and prime accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case Goldy Brar now features among top 25 most wanted criminals in Canada.

Notably, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has listed him as number 15 among the wanted criminals. This information has surfaced through Canada-based Bolo Programme website. The website explains “BOLO” stands for “be on the lookout.” Bolo is a common law enforcement term designating an actively wanted individual.

Recently,  the National Investigation Agency (NIA) chargesheeted Goldy Brar and his accomplice Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi claiming that they had links with terrorist organisations.

Goldy Brar had reached Canada on a student visa in 2017. He had claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, who was murdered in broad daylight in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29 last year. He is at large since then. Brar had allegedly planned the entire killing.

Goldy Brar belongs to Punjab's Muktsar district. A red corner notice has already been issued against the gangster.

Goldy Brar has also been named in the 1,850-page police chargesheet filed in the Mansa court on August 26 last year.
