Bharatpur, September 13: A horrific accident unfolded on the Jaipur-Agra Highway near Hantra village in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, resulting in the loss of 12 lives and leaving 12 others injured. According to local law enforcement, the incident occurred on Wednesday when a trailer collided with a stationary bus.
Mridul Kachawa, the Superintendent of Police (SP) in Bharatpur, provided details of the tragic incident. "Eleven people have tragically lost their lives, and a dozen more have sustained injuries as a trailer collided with a stationary bus. This devastating incident took place on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway near Hantra village in Rajasthan's Bharatpur. The ill-fated passengers were en route to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh from Bhavnagar in Gujarat. The bus had come to a halt on the highway as repair work was underway. Some passengers were inside the bus, while others were standing outside when the collision occurred."
The aftermath of the collision was grim, with the bodies of the deceased being carefully placed in a mortuary, while the injured were promptly admitted to the RBM Hospital in Bharatpur district. As the investigation into the accident unfolds, further details are eagerly awaited.
