Chandigarh, March 6: High drama was witnessed on the second

day of the Punjab Assembly’s Budget Session in Chandigarh on Monday. The Aam

Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and and

opposition Congress exchanging heated arguments.

Singha Bajwa criticised the actions of AAP government for not treating well the

editor-in-chief of the Ajit Group of publications in Punjab. LoP  Bajwa later claimed the freedom of speech in

Punjab is retrenched.

Partap Singh Bajwa took to Twitter against the allegations

made by Barjinder Singh, Ajit Group of publications and also condemned the

actions made by Punjab AAP government. He said that the "soul of Hitler

has entered into Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann."

Bajwa tweeted.

Earlier, the editor-in-chief of Ajit Group of publications Barjinder

Singh said in his letter to the Governor of Punjab Banwari Lal Purohit that his

staff reporters, special reporters, cameramen and videographers are banned to

enter the ongoing Punjab budget session in the state assembly by the

government.

He also stated that Punjab Government has ordered all the

departments that not even a small tender notice should get published in the

Ajit Group of publications. The editor-in-chief Barjinder Singh pointed out the

letter which he has sent to Governor, the state police officials in Punjab are now

threatening him.

Bajwa in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha stated that he will be

raising this matter in the ongoing budget session. "I will be raising this

issue strongly tomorrow in Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Perfect case of How Power Corrupts!"

Bajwa tweeted.

The Punjab budget session is underway and will continue

until March 24.
