Typhoon Kills 9 In Japan; It Is Now On Destruction Mode

Powerful Typhoon called as Jebi has killed 9 people in western Japan. Nearly 1 million homes are without power and nearly 3000 people are stranded in the Kansai Airport.

It is one of the most powerful storms to hit Japan in 25 years. Jebi, or “swallow” in Korean, was briefly a super typhoon.

About 3,000 tourists stayed overnight at Kansai airport in the heavily populated south-central area of Japan’s main island, Honshu. People have lined up to buy food and drinks at the convenience store in the airport.

Airport officials have started with the transferring process by high-speed boats on Wednesday morning. they would be transferring people from Airport to a safe place.

More than 1 million households are without power in Osaka and nearly 600 flights have been cancelled so far.
