The foldable iPhone is widely expected to be called the iPhone Ultra. Apple may also introduce new Apple Watch and AirPods models, along with possible smart-home products.

Apple iPhone 18 Launch: How to Watch Live
People in India can watch the event live through Apple’s official website, the Apple TV app and Apple’s official YouTube channel.
While the new iPhone models are expected to be the main focus, Apple could also announce updated Apple Watch and AirPods models and other products.
iPhone Ultra: Apple’s First Foldable iPhone
The foldable iPhone is reportedly expected to feature a book-style design, with a large display that opens from the centre.
Reports suggest the device could have an inner screen of around 7.8 inches and an outer display measuring about 5.4 to 5.5 inches.
The phone is also expected to feature a titanium frame and could be around 4.5mm thick when unfolded and approximately 9mm when folded.
Touch ID and Dual 48MP Cameras
Apple may reportedly use Touch ID instead of Face ID, with the fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
The device is also expected to feature two 48MP rear cameras, without a dedicated telephoto lens.
Apple is reportedly focusing heavily on reducing the visible crease on the foldable display.
Reports suggest the company could use a liquid-metal hinge, ultra-thin glass and other structural improvements to make the crease as less noticeable as possible.
iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max Price in India
Price is expected to be a major talking point for Indian buyers. The iPhone 18 Pro is reportedly expected to start at around ₹1,39,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max could have a starting price of nearly ₹1,59,900.
However, these are only expected prices and Apple has not officially confirmed them. The final cost could vary depending on the storage option. There is also speculation that higher component and memory costs could push up the prices of the new iPhone models.
Apple’s First Foldable iPhone
Apple’s first foldable iPhone could be one of the biggest highlights of the September event. Reports have referred to the device as the iPhone Fold, iPhone Ultra or iPhone Duo, but Apple has not officially revealed its name.
The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a book-style design. Reports suggest it could have a display of about 5.5 inches when folded, which may expand to around 7.8 inches when opened.
The device is also expected to be significantly more expensive than Apple’s regular iPhone models. Some reports suggest a price of more than $2,000, which could translate to around ₹2.5 lakh in India.
