Balwinder Singh Laddi (MLA-Sri Hargobindpur)
Punjab Assembly elections 2022: Balwinder Singh Laddi is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He was born on April 5, 1972. Balwinder Singh Laddi is the current MLA of Sri Hargobindpur. In 2017, he was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and won the assembly elections by 18065 votes. He remained President of the Baba Jeewan Singh Samaj Bhalai Manch (Regd.) and a member of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha's Subordinate Legislation and Petition Committees. He is a present member of the Committee on Welfare of SC/STs and BCs and the Library Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2018–19). It is pertinent to mention that Laddi had resigned from the Congress party and joined Bharatiya Janata Party, However, he returned to Congress after just 2-3 days.
