Captain Amarinder Singh Delhi visit: After meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who is on a two-day visit to Delhi, is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sources said on Thursday. After meeting Amit Shah in Delhi on Wednesday, Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday morning met National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval after which there have been speculations that Captain might join Bharatiya Janata Party. On Tuesday, several reported erupted regarding Captain meeting Amit Shah in Delhi, but Raveen Thukral, the media advisor to former Punjab CM, covered him up. He tweeted: "Too much being read into Captain's visit to Delhi. He’s on a personal visit, during which he’ll meet some friends and also vacate Kapurthalas house for the new CM. No need for any unnecessary speculation."
