Centre appoints Harpreet Singh Sidhu ADGP of ITBP
Chandigarh, October 20: The Central Government on Thursday appointed Punjab's Special STF chief Harpreet Singh Sidhu as ADGP of ITBP. The Centre has ordered the deputation of Harpreet Sidhu for four years.
Sidhu, a 1992-batch IPS officer, is known for being a strict and quick-witted officer. Prior to this, the Punjab government entrusted him with a number of significant responsibilities, which he handled successfully. Harpreet Sidhu has uncovered a number of international drug trafficking networks.
