New WhatsApp Privacy policy: The Central government on Tuesday wrote to Will Cathcart, Global CEO of WhatsApp to withdraw the proposed changes to the Privacy Policy of the Facebook-owned messaging app for the Indian users. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has asked WhatsApp Global CEO Will Cathcart has been to respond to the government's query regarding privacy, data transfer, and sharing policies of WhatsApp.
