Chandumajra: a Patit Sikh like Sidhu has no right to speak on Sikh religious affairs

Senior Akali leader Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra today expressed surprise that a patit like Navjot Singh Sidhu " who regularly disrespects his hair, trims and dyes his beard and performs religious rituals forbidden in Sikhism  had the cheek and audacity to approach the sacred Shri Akal Takht Sahib to vent his hatred  against proper practicing SIkhs."

Directing his ire straight on  the Congress leader, Prof Chandumajra said, " Go and conform to the tenets of Sikh rmaryada  and keep a proper Sikh sroop before you even begin to talk about Sikhism. You are an apostate- a patit. You prefer your TV shows to a proper and proud Sikh sroop. Stop trimming and dying your beard before you earn the right to speak on issues of Sikh religion," said Prof Chandumajra. Prof Chandumajra said that it is Sidhu's personal affair how he chooses to appear as long as he does not pretend to be concerned on Sikh values. He  has no right to speak on Sikh issue when he proudly defies the dictate of the tenth Master Sri guru Gobind SIngh ji on the sanctity of hair and indulges in rituals and sacrifices strictly forbidden in Sikhism.

In a statement here, prof Chandumajra said that Navjot Singh Sidhu  makes quite a laughable spectacle at the Akal takht Sahib. Sidhu represents a party which is a killer of Sikhs and which the Sikhs will never forgive for pulling down the sacred Shri Akal Takhat Sahib with tanks and mortar guns during the army assault on Shri Harmandar Sahib in 1984.

Sidhu has never uttered even a single word against the army assault on Akal Takht Sahibn or on the massacre of thousands of innocent Sikhs on the specific orders of a Prime Minister belonging to the anti  Congress party   Mr Sidhu has bartered away his Sikhi to get a ministership  from the anti-Sikh Congress party. He has no right even to be seen at the Akal takht Sahib, says prof Chandumajra . -PTC News
