Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira suspended from primary membership of Congress
Two days after, Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira had questioned Punjab CM Amarinder Singh’s Drug Drive at oath ceremony function in Ferozepur , Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Sunil Jakhar on Wednesday suspended congresss MLA from the primary membership of Congress.

Earlier, Jakhar had issued a notice soughting explanation from Member of Legislative assembly , Kulbir Singh Zira for his public outburst against the State government and administration during oath taking ceremony of Panches and sarpanches.

The Captain Amarinder Singh led state government was left red-faced when Kulbir Singh Zira flagged the issue of drugs vociferousy during the oath taking ceremony on Saturday.

Kukbir Singh Zira had accused his own government alleging that, the supply of narcotics has not changed in Captain Amarinder Singh government. He also boycotted the oath taking ceremony saying that no action has been taken against illicit liquor trade which was going on with the alleged support of police officers in Ferozepur district.
