Baahubali actor Prabhas donates Rs 4 crores to combat coronavirus

Baahubali actor Prabhas has donated Rs 4 crores while Mahesh Babu donated one crore to help combat the coronavirus pandemic. The Telugu star on Thursday donated Rs 4 crore for the cause. Of this, Rs 3 crores have been sent to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund, while Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. publive-image Prabhas has recently returned from Georgia, where he was shooting for his upcoming film, reportedly titled "Prabhas 20", with Pooja Hegde. Both the actors went into self-quarantine for 14 days after their return.

publive-image Earlier, the Telugu superstars Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, and Mahesh Babu also donated money to combat the fight against coronavirus. Pawan Kalyan donated Rs 2 crores for the cause. Meanwhile, Ram Charan gave the amount of Rs 70 lakh while Ram Charan's father, Chiranjeevi, gave Rs 1 crore. Likewise, Mahesh Babu also gave one crore for the cause. Earlier, Kapil Sharma also donated Rs 50 lakh to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's relief fund to help fight the pandemic.

Donations from Sports Fraternity

Sportspersons like MS Dhoni, PV Sindhu, and several others contributed to the pandemic. The Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has donated a huge amount of Rs 50 lakh.
