A 3-year-old boy in Ernakulam in Kerala has been tested positive for coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 40 in India. As per the report, the boy had returned from Italy with his parents at Cochin International airport on an EK 503 flight on Saturday. Ernakulam District Medical Officer Dr. NK Kuttappan was quoted by news agency ANI as saying: "After universal screening at the Cochin airport, the child was transferred to Ernakulam Medical college. His father and mother have been put under observation in the isolation ward of the medical college."
