Delegation Of DSGMC Visit Srinagar To Meet Sikh Girl Who Was Forced To Covert To Islam Manjinder Singh Sirsa along with a delegation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) thanked Sangat of Kashmir for welcoming them here on Friday. '‪Thanking the Sangat of Kashmir for such a warm welcome', Manjinder Singh Sirsa said. 'As guided by Shiromani Akali Dal President, Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, a delegation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) is in Srinagar today to meet Mandeep Kaur, the Sikh girl from Tral who was harassed & pressurised for converting to Islam,' he said. 'We are meeting Hon’ble Governor N N Vohra Ji today at 3PM to discuss problems faced by minorities in Kashmir', Manjinder Singh Sirsa added. The delegation included Manjit Singh GK, President of DSGMC. A Sikh girl studying at Kashmir’s Islamic University of Science and Technology was stabbed by two bike-borne masked men at the Tral bus stand. The girl had told the police that she was being forced to convert to Islam by her Muslim classmates, and the attack was linked to it. -PTC News
