Delhi shocker: Father stabs 10-year-old son to death for insisting to play in rain
PTC News Desk: In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old boy was stabbed to death allegedly by his father for insisting to gout and play in rain. The police have arrested the accused and also recovered the weapon used in the crime.
The police on Saturday morning received a distressing call from the hospital regarding a child who was brought with stab injuries. The investigation officer upon reaching the hospital discovered that the child was declred dead by the attending doctors.
The brutal incident unfolded after the child insisted on playing outside in rain. When the boy did not listen, the father allegedly lost his temper, picked up a kitchen knife, and stabbed the child in the left rib area.
After the attack, the accused immediately rushed the boy to the hospital who later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said that the accused had been living with his four children in a single-room rented accommodation. His wife passed away a few years ago. The dead child was the third among the four siblings.
A case of murder has been registered against the father under relevant sections and investigation is underway.
