Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Dharamkot constituency is located in the Moga district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Congress' Sukhjit Singh Kaka won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Dharamkot. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal's Tota Singh with a margin of 22,218 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,73,216. 194 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,43,617 votes were cast in the Dharamkot constituency and the percentage was 82.91%, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Daljit Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal's Tota Singh and Congress' Sukhjit Singh were MLA candidates for the Dharamkot constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections. Sukhjit Singh (Congress) grabbed 63,238 votes, while Tota Singh (SAD) got 41,020 votes. Daljit Singh (AAP) managed to get 34,615 votes.
