2 people arrested after they attempted to trespass Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai
PTC News Desk: Mumbai police have arrested a man and a woman for allegedly attempting to trespass Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai.
The accused, the police added, made separate attempts to enter Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West) on Tuesday and Wednesday. The man was identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh (23) and the woman, Isha Chhabra (32)
According to the police, Jitendra Kumar was caught roaming around Salman's residence. When he was questioned by the security personnel deployed, he responded aggressively and smashed his phone.
"That evening, Singh entered Galaxy Apartments in a car belonging to a person living in the same building. However, he was stopped by the police again. This time, they handed him over to the Bandra police," an officer said.
Singh was caught at around 7:15 pm by a police constable deployed at the building. He was handed over to the Bandra police. "I wanted to meet Salman Khan, but the police were not letting me meet him, so I was trying to hide," the man told police.
A case of illegal trespassing under section 329 (1) of BNS was registered against both the accused.
