‘Barbie’ OTT release: It’s time to sing ‘I’m a Barbie girl in the Barbie world’ as Greta Gerwig’s film ‘Barbie’, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as the much-awaited and biggest debut ever for a film directed by a woman is finally streaming at your OTT platform. 

Good news for ‘pink world’ and ‘Barbie’ lovers as your favourite fantasy comedy-drama is now streaming at Amazon Prime Video. In addition to ‘Barbie’, ‘Meg 2: The Trench’ is also available for fans on Prime Video.

Amazon Prime India took to their Twitter handle and wrote, “did we hear you say hi Barbie?  Barbie now available on #PrimeVideoStore, rent now.”

Gerwig, the Oscar-nominated director of 'Lady Bird' and 'Little Women', co-wrote the film’s screenplay with Noah Baumbach.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling star as the stereotypical versions of Barbie and Ken, who leave the world of Barbieland on a quest for self-discovery in the real world. The cast also includes Issa Rae, Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, John Cena and Will Ferrell.

Notably, 'Barbie' is the second blockbuster of the year and the sixth in the pandemic era to cross the $1 billion mark, following 'Spider-Man: No Way Home,' 'Top Gun: Maverick,' 'Jurassic World Dominion,' and 'Avatar: The Way of Water.’

While, in some parts of the nation movie created world records but there are some countries that banned the screening of the movie. The countries like Pakistan stated that the movie contains ‘objectionable content’ which is why they have put stop on the screening of the movie.
