Border 2 teaser out: Sunny Deol leads regiment, yells war cry 'Awaz Lahore tak jaani chahiye'
PTC News Desk: The makers of Border 2 launched the film’s teaser at a grand event in Mumbai on Tuesday. Offering a first look at four war heroes, the teaser pays homage to India’s armed forces, echoing the patriotic spirit of the original Border (1997). The unveiling coincided with Vijay Diwas, marking India’s victory in the 1971 war.
The film features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty. True to the franchise’s trademark intensity, the teaser highlights a powerful moment where Deol rallies his troops, urging them to raise a roar loud enough to be heard across the border in Lahore. Deol returns in his iconic, battle-tested role, while Dhawan is shown as a soldier driven by unwavering resolve.
Dosanjh brings a gritty, resilient presence amid the chaos of war, and Shetty embodies fearless youthful bravery. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is expected to strongly reflect the themes of brotherhood, sacrifice and deep emotion that define the franchise.
Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. The film is slated for release on January 23, 2026.
