Chandigarh on high alert after fresh bomb threat emails target passport offices, Sector 17 bus stand
PTC Web Desk: In Chandigarh, several government departments have once again received bomb threat emails via Gmail, triggering heightened security concerns across the city.
According to reports, the latest threats target the Passport Office in the Industrial Area, the Passport Office in Sector 34, the Mukherjee Office, and the Sector 17 Bus Stand. The threatening emails reportedly warned of plans to blow up these locations.
Sources said that the police have immediately launched an investigation into the matter. Multiple teams have been deployed to the identified locations to carry out thorough checks and ensure public safety.
