Chandigarh: G20 delegates dance to tune of Oscar-winning 'Naatu Naatu'
Chandigarh, March 30: The craze for 'Naatu Naatu' continues! On the sidelines of the second Agriculture Deputies Meeting (ADM) of the Agriculture Working Group under India's G20 presidency, G20 delegates danced to the tune of the Oscar-winning "Naatu Naatu."
The meeting began on Wednesday in Chandigarh. The delegates were spotted shaking their legs with Chandigarh's local dancers. They appeared to be in a celebratory spirit.
The cross-cultural hit 'Naatu Naatu' bagged the prestigious Oscar for India, beating "This Is A Life" from "Everything Everywhere All at Once," "Applause" from "Tell It Like a Woman," and "Lift Me Up" from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever".
The song won major awards on a global scale before winning the Oscars. 'Naatu Naatu' received the Golden Globe for 'Best Original Song' in January. Five days later, 'RRR' won two more awards at the 28th Critics Choice Awards. One award is for best song and another for 'best foreign language film.'
The song was also released as 'Naacho Naacho' in Hindi, 'Naattu Koothu' in Tamil, 'Halli Naatu' in Kannada, and 'Karinthol' in Malayalam. Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra sang the Hindi version.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan's hook steps became popular on social media, and their dynamic synchronisation made the song a treat to see.
