Mumbai (Maharashtra), May 1: Actor Deepika Padukone on Monday took a walk down memory lane and shared a string of pictures of her BTS moments from the Oscars.

Notably, Deepika recently made India proud as she was one of the presenters at the Oscars 2023.

Taking to Instagram, the actor dropped a post and captioned, "And the rest is history...#oscars."

Deepika was photographed backstage in her stunning black gown, prepared for her speech.

Fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons shortly after she posted the photos.

"PROUD OF YOUUUUU," a fan commented, while another wrote, "You will be always remembered as ONE OF THE GREATEST ACTRESS OF INDIAN CINEMA."

"You're making us proud each and every day," another added.

Deepika, solo, took over the Oscars stage and introduced RRR's song, Naatu Naatu right before its live performance.

"An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves to match have made this song a global sensation. It plays during a pivotal scene in 'RRR', a movie about the friendship between real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. In addition to being sung in Telugu and illustrating the film's anti-colonialist themes, it's also a total banger!" she said of the song.

"It's earned millions of views on Youtube and Tik Tok. Has audiences dancing in movie theatres all around the world and is also the first song ever from Indian production to be nominated for an Oscar. Do you know Naatu? Because if you don't you're about to. From the film RRR this is Naatu Naatu," the actor added.

Deepika looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder black velvet gown. She had her hair in a bun and wore her make-up normally. She completed her ensemble with a yellow diamond drop necklace.

At the 95th Academy Awards, RRR's hit song 'Naatu Naatu' won the gold trophy for Best Original Song.

Meanwhile, Deepika will be seen next in the next pan-India action thriller film 'Project K' with actor Prabhas, and in director Siddharth Anand's next aerial action thriller film 'Fighter' opposite Hrithik Roshan.
