Katrina Kaif, Vijay Sethupathi-starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ gets new release date
‘Merry Christmas’ release date: Moviegoers will not have to wait long to see Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming thriller 'Merry Christmas,' since the makers have set the release date.
On Tuesday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh provided the updates on Instagram.
“KATRINA KAIF - VIJAY SETHUPATHI: ‘MERRY CHRISTMAS’ TO ARRIVE ONE WEEK EARLY... 8 Dec 2023 is the new release date of #MerryChristmas, which teams #KatrinaKaif and #VijaySethupathi for the first time. #MerryChristmas - directed by #SriramRaghavan - is shot in two languages [#Hindi and #Tamil] with different supporting actors. Produced by #RameshTaurani, #JayaTaurani, #SanjayRoutray and #KewalGarg," he wrote.
Katrina revealed the release date the day following her birthday.
Tips Films took to Instagram to reveal a poster with Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi in their fierce avatars, as well as a release announcement. “We decided to cut short the wait for the Christmas cheer! #MerryChristmas releasing in theatres near you ON 15th DECEMBER 2023," the wrote.
Instead of being released on December 15, 'Merry Christmas' will now be released one week earlier.
So note December 8 on your calendars.
'Merry Christmas,' directed by Sriram Raghavan, stars Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the key roles.
'Merry Christmas,' a genre-defying tale from the filmmaker of Johnny Gaddaar, Badlapur, and Andhadhun, is presented by Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures. With the promise that it will be just as different from those films as they are from one another.
'Merry Christmas' is shot in two languages and has a variety of supporting performers.
Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand co-star in the Hindi version, while Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams co-star in the Tamil version. This would undoubtedly heighten the level of excitement among fans globally. Pari, a kid actor, is also introduced in the film.
Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte make cameos.
