SRK, Virat Kohli, Rahul Gandhi among those who lost Twitter blue tick; check deets
Twitter is finally eliminating the legacy blue ticks from the accounts of prominent users. Elon Musk set a '4/20' deadline for legacy checkmarks, and it appears he kept his word this time.
Rahul Gandhi, Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Alia Bhatt are among the popular faces to lose the blue tick.

Kunal Shah, Nikhil Kamath, Sridhar Vembu and Uday Kotak. International personalities like Pope Francis, Beyonce, Christiano Ronaldo and even Bill Gates add to the list.
Only accounts that pay the Rs 650 (via the Twitter website) or Rs 900 (via Android and iOS) subscription fee will have their Twitter Blue tick reinstated.
Twitter launched paid blue tick late last year, offering legacy blue checkmark users 90 days to transition to the new paid model. Musk, on the other hand, prolonged the period significantly and is now finally removing the verified badge from accounts that do not pay for the subscription.
Elon Musk is making a few exceptions for Twitter Blue users who are unwilling to pay. He has stated that he will pay for LeBron James, William Shatner, and Stephen King.
