Web series on Lawrence Bishnoi's life titled 'Lawrence: A Gangster Story,' says report
Lawrence: A Gangster Story: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has recently made headlines due to his alleged involvement in the murder of politician Baba Siddique and for issuing new threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to News18, the Jani Firefox Film Production house is set to release a web series titled Lawrence: A Gangster Story, which will focus on the life of Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Indian Motion Pictures Association has officially approved the title of the web series, which aims to delve into the life of Lawrence Bishnoi and his evolution into a feared gangster. Despite being incarcerated since 2014, Bishnoi has maintained a notorious reputation for running a vast criminal network, both within India and internationally.
Amit Jani, the head of the production house, expressed his intention to engage audiences with a dramatic and authentic portrayal of Bishnoi's life. Jani has a history of producing projects based on real events, including A Tailor Murder Story and Karachi to Noida. As the series unfolds, viewers will likely be curious to see which significant moments from Bishnoi’s life will be depicted.

In light of the recent threats, security has been significantly increased at Salman Khan’s home. Reports from ANI indicate that fresh death threats have been issued against the actor, accompanied by a demand for an extortion payment of ₹5 crore. Mumbai Police confirmed that a threatening message was sent to the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police, urging Salman to "end his long-standing rivalry with Lawrence Bishnoi."
The message, allegedly from someone affiliated with Bishnoi's gang, warned Salman Khan to take the threat seriously: “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan's condition will be worse than Baba Siddique.”
This chilling development follows the assassination of politician Baba Siddique on October 12 in Mumbai, which has already led to the arrest of four individuals connected to the crime.
As the situation unfolds, the intersection of Lawrence Bishnoi's criminal undertakings, the production of the web series, and the escalating threats to Salman Khan continues to capture public attention.
