For first time since June 10 last year, Punjab records zero COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours
Meanwhile, Dr. Rakesh Bhaskar, nodal officer for COVID-19, said that Punjab's COVID-19 fatality rate continued to be the highest in the country at 2.7 percent because of honesty. He said that "we have reported each and every COVID-19 death honestly."

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 5,98,882 after 45 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as per the health bulletin giving coronavirus updates on Punjab.

The recoveries in the state have gone up to 5,82,018 after 93 new recoveries were reported from the state.
Amritsar reported 5 new recoveries while Barnala reported 1, Bathinda 14, Faridkot 1, Ferozepur 11, FG Sahib 1, Gurdaspur 8, Hoshiarpur 6, Jalandhar 10, Ludhiana 7, Mansa 6, Muktsar Sahib 5, Pathankot 3, Patiala 5, Ropar 5, Sangrur 1, and SAS Nagar 4.
