New SSP Traffic Mohali, Punjab Police: In a major development, the PPS officer Gurjot Singh Kaler has been appointed as Mohali's new superintendent of police, traffic.
SSP Traffic Mohali, Gurjot Singh Kaler, has come in place of another PPS officer, Kesar Singh Dhaliwal.

Earlier, he was Punjab's cybercrime SP and deputy director of DITAC (Digital Investigation Training and Analysis Centre), Mohali.

Meanwhile, Kesar Singh Dhaliwal has been appointed as superintendent of police (SP) of the Punjab Bureau of Investigation (PBI) at Ropar.
Gurjot Singh Kaler is the Punjab Police officer who paid tribute to corona warriors. He had performed 15,000 feet skydive in the air to salute the corona warriors who are working restlessly working during the unprecedented times.
He dared to successfully attempt the 15,000 feet skydive which he dedicated as a part of the tribute to the “Mission Fateh”, an initiative led by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amrinder Singh and DGP Punjab Dinkar Gupta to fight against the spread of coronavirus.
It was for the first time in the history of Punjab Police that a skydive was performed by a serving officer of the Punjab police.
