World Mental Health Day 2023: World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10th every year. 

The day widely focuses of raising awareness on mental issues, promoting well-being and highlighting the importance of mental health care and support in each other’s life. The day also encourages open discussions about mental health, reduce the stigma associated with mental illness, and mobilize efforts to improve mental health services and resources globally.


The significance of World Mental Health Day focuses to bring attention to mental health issues and promote understanding and support for those who may be struggling with their mental health.

It serves as a reminder that mental health is a vital part of overall well-being and that it's essential to break the silence and stigma surrounding mental health topics. 

How does anxiety and depression hit? 

The anxiety and depression becomes primary cause of common and fatal diseases such as heart attacks, diabetes, asthma, cancer, osteoporosis, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, memory loss, and premature ageing.

Headaches, nausea, back pain, and lack of sleep are also among the top symptom of anxiety and depression. 

Some individuals facing anxiety and depression may also experience panic attacks that can include symptoms like a racing heart, sweating, trembling, and a feeling of impending doom.

Mindful eating:  Mindful eating such as fruits, seeds, vegetables, high-fiber and high-protein food items facilitates self- awareness, reduces anxiety and also renews our experience with the pleasure of eating.

Sleep well: Lack of sleep is known to negatively affect mood and emotional health. So, try getting 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep on a daily basis to improve anxiety and depression
