IMD Weather report: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, widespread rainfall and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning have been predicted over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on Tuesday and Wednesday
The weather report by IMD stated that fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning forecast over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh on March 23.
Likewise, isolated to scattered showers are likely over Rajasthan on the same day. Similarly, the weather department predicted isolated hailstorms over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan on the day.
Even as the Indian Meteorological Department predicted rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on Tuesday and even as issued an orange alert.
Western Himalayan Region including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are likely to witness fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/snowfall, thunderstorms, and lightning on March 23.
Isolated hailstorms are likely over Himachal Pradesh on March 23 and over Uttarakhand during March 23-24. while heavy rainfall and snowfall are on the cards across Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, and Himachal Pradesh on March 23.
Even as Punjab, Assam, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep are likely to witness rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday.
