IND vs NZ 2nd ODI: New Zealand defeated India by 22 runs in the second ODI match at Eden Parks, Auckland on Saturday. With an amazing victory, Kiwis won three-match ODI series 2-0. India won the toss and elected to bowl first. New Zealand scored 273-8, while Black Caps bowled out India on 251. Ross Taylor did his job again. There was a time, when New Zealand was 187-7, but Taylor rescued the team to reach a competitive score at the small ground like Eden Parks. Ross Taylor scored 73 runs off 74 balls that included 6 boundaries and 2 sixes. Likewise, opener Martin Guptill scored 79 runs off 79 deliveries with 8 boundaries and 3 sixes. Except of Taylor and Guptill, New Zealand witnessed an average performance in term of batting department, but the bowling line up was exceptional. Kyle Jamieson and Tim Southee bagged two wickets each and created a pressure among the Indian batting side. While openers, Virat Kohli himself went back to the pavilion, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer tried to lead the side to the victory, but failed. Ravindra Jadeja was a surprise for Kiwis as he not only bowled well, but did some phenomenon batting. However, Jadeja was not able to finish it off in style, but till the time he was at the crease, the fans were hoping a turn in the match. He was the highest run-scorer for India.
